Calphalon Easy System Nonstick 10 Pc Pot and Pan Set

Functional AND Beautiful!
This is a great set of pots. I really like the glass lids, pour spouts, strainer holes in the lids, and the measurements etched inside of the pots. I have been searching for a long time (about 1 year) and I am so happy to finally have found a set of pots that have everything that I was looking for in a set of pots. I used the large skillet to cook breakfast on a small burner for my family of 7. All of the sausage cooked evenly. I was so excited because I felt I was not limited in the use of my pots and the various burners. The pots are very stylish. I love the accents on the pot handles. The pots are functional and fit in perfectly with my beautiful kitchen. I didn't want to settle or compromise on the characteristics. This set of pots will last me for years.

I have the stainless version of this set
Although Amazon doesn't have them on their site, I bought the stainless set of this cookware. Amazon only seems to list the non-stick version of the Easy System cookware. I bought my set at Bed Bath & Beyond.

Basically, these pots and pans are the Simply Calphalon type, with measuring lines, pour spouts, and lids with silicone seals. I did not want to buy a set of non-stick, and have to throw out certain pans in a few years because the non-stick finish was scratched, so I got the stainless finish.

My main concern was that the pans be induction-capable, and these are. I bought the set, cooked on my old electric coils for a couple of weeks, then, after the induction cooktop was delivered, had it installed just a few days ago. Thus, I can compare the pots' performance on two different systems.

Great cookware!
I moved and wanted to treat myself to some good cookware, as my old ones, though the same brand, were a bit wore out and a different style. These are wonderful! Love the look and the fit of the handles, and the tops with their seals, the pans with their pouring spouts, are terrific! Clean up nice too. I wash by hand. I think they could benefit from a light " seasoning" with olive oil or cooking oil to keep the insides nice as well. Great buy.
