Excellent manufacturer of quality product
I had a four pc set of Tramontina stainless "tri ply" for probably 30 years. I bought them in Macys way back when and they were what I thought would be my first "starter set". They ended up being my only set for all this time. Well, I loved them and used them consistently, some pieces more than others at different times, but essentially all the pieces, all the time. I kept them clean and polished and they never ever failed to give gorgeous results, the highly polished stainless resists sticking, and even if I screwed up and burned something, a soak of hot water and dish detergent and they were like new. Never got stained, never cooked inconsistently or had hot spots, never got stains on the outside/bottom of them. If I polished them up, they looked nearly as good as new.
Recently I noticed one of the saucepan bottoms was coming away from the main pot and when I checked all the pieces , all of them except for the 1 qt saucepan were subtley starting to show the same...
Not perfect but almost.
So my favorite favorite pot which was actually a Rivere Ware stainless steele Dutch oven finally wore out after 30+ years I looked for a replacement. This is better than the rest I got. Don't waste your money on a $20 pot, they are flimsy.... This is much more sturdy. If it were just a little bigger but also shorter and wider it would be perfect.
