change the outer lining
I love this skillet and use it all the time. My only complaint is with the gray primer like outer skin. Why not just leave it alone? This is really my only complaint. This cookware is GREAT!!! As good as All-Clad and at a third of the cost.
If I had realized about the outer skin I would have shopped around for a plain finish.
Wonderful Pan
Cuisinart Multiclad Unlimited Dishwasher-Safe 12-Inch Skillet with Helper Handle I bought this skillet as a gift for my husband to encourage his interest in cooking omelets. He loves it. His eggs do not stick. The pan can be put in the oven to finish cooking his creations. I have enjoyed cooking many dishes in it. Clean-up is easy, even though I do not put it in my dishwasher. It has been many months since it's purchase and it is still beautiful and functional.
Great line of cookware!
I bought an entire set of this last month... 23 pieces, in all... and I am loving them. Once you get used to cooking on lower heat (because of their great heat distribution), then using them is a dream. Cleaning them is also a dream... just a quick soak and rinse... and into the dishwasher if you feel like it. Any discoloration they may attain is easily fixed with a stainless cleaner. Or, a light coating of oil will temporarily remove the discoloration too, if you just want them to look nice hanging on your pot rack and don't feel like breaking out the stainless cleaner.
I couldn't be happier. This cookware is an affordable alternative to All-Clad LTD... it actually matches the pieces of that on my pot rack... and it performs just as beautifully.
