The pan arrived and it performed beautifully on a dish of sauted mushrooms and onions. And, the pan is compact enough to fit completely in my small sink for cleaning (and added bonus). One thing I will say slightly negative about it: because the handles are close to the metal surface, you need to be sure to use a towel or mitt when you take the hot pan off the stove to avoid getting a burn - but that's common-sense with any pan of this design, so not a big deal.

Also:

I noticed when I logged on to update that the pan went down in price. It is (on this day at least) being advertised at only $49.99. That's incredible! I called customer service and received a price guarantee refund. Kudos to Amazon for having extremely rapid telephone service. At this price, you absolutely NEED to order one of these pans. Heck, even at full price it is a great pan.

No logo on the bottom
When I received the pan, the bottom center on the back side had no Swiss diamond logo on it, so I am not sure if this is real or fake. On the helper handles, both sides are supposed to have the logo on it too, but our pan only has the logo on one side. I bought it here on amazon, and if anybody else has the same issue, please respond.

Update May 22-2008
After few weeks using this pan, Now I like it. The surface is much harder than cheap pan. you can put it in oven, no any other brand pan allow you do that. The 20K Diamond, you can't see it, but you can feel it.

I emailed to Swiss Diamond for the logo, below is the response

It sounds like you ordered our model number 6828.
Yes, this is an authentic piece of Swiss Diamond cookware. There is no logo, and you should have received it in a plain white carton.

I really love the swiss diamond non-stick cookware. Its costly but it is the best that i have found. This is our 5th piece and quite an extraordinary value. Ours has the Swiss Diamond logo on it. For the price, its a steal.
