Le Creuset Signature Enameled Cast-Iron 6-3/4-Quart Oval French Oven, Caribbean

Imperfections
I am wondering if I should return this pot I'm in love with. At its first washing tonight I discovered little imperfections in the edge, also the lid, and maybe I'm fussy but I think the lid is very slightly warped. For $304 it should be perfect, or is this not a perfect World of Pots even for that price?

Great price!
I bought this for my wife's birthday. I know what you're thinking but not only did she NOT hit me over the head with it (which would have been deadly, this thing weighs a ton!), she was thrilled to receive it! She'd talked about getting one for some time but I knew she wouldn't buy it for herself at that price. I even knew which color she wanted because we'd looked at them at a few different stores...now that I think about it she probably dropped so many hints I didn't have any choice except buying this French oven. I'm starting to feel a little manipulated actually...Anyway, she's happy, her mother is happy with me and the pot roast was delicious so I'm happy. Great Product!

A wonderful French Oven
I know it is expensive. It is heavy. But it cooks wonderfully and is worth every penny. It is a pleasure to use. It heats up well and cooks quickly if you are in a hurry. Of course, it is a slow cooker and excels at slow cooking. I consider this an heirloom as it will lasts for years and years if it is used properly.
