Perfect and useful!
I had an old (about 45 years old) warming tray that finally stopped working. So I looked at all the options and chose this one. I was attracted by the ability to adjust the temperature and the ability to use it with the trays or without. It's stainless and a good size.
Not very good quality
It worked great for 2 Christmas parties and then stopped working. No omre heat. I guess I could still use it as a server but that sure doesnt make much sense. In addition they didnt pay my $10 rebate. Id stay away from this product and move up in quality (however...probably in price too).
Low quality - poor customer service
I purchased this buffet server at Macy's before last Thanksgiving and didn't actually use it until Christmas. Warmer worked well keeping food warm, but after hand washing the trays and lids, we noticed the lids were cracked. We didn't inspect them after washing them prior to use, so I don't know if the lids were broken before or after gentle use.
I used the warmer again last month and decided to investigate whether the lids were covered under warranty. I was delighted to learn that they were. Macy's was very helpful in issuing a duplicate receipt based on the code they tagged on the box. Sensio shipped replacement lids under warranty and I received them within a week.
The new lids were already cracked. I called Sensio to request re-replacement and they advised me to return the broken replacement lids by marking the package "RTS" for "return to sender." I asked how to do this since I admitted to opening the box, otherwise I couldn't know the lids were...
